Osho Nataraj Mediatation | How do I love Thee? Let me count the ways

Osho-Nataraj-MediatationMido, supposing you have a lover, how many ways do you express your love? Ya, I can understand your concern ‘why suppose?’, you ask…. It comes to my calculation: Zero-Infinity. Zero for my mudstone friend (anybody else welcome to join the list!) who doesn’t know to express his love and infinity for the playful lovers (include my alter ego here) who find abundance in their expression of love.

Let me strike the note now. How do a new ager like me love god? Let me use that word (god) for simplicity sake; you can call it lover, existence or nature with NO loss in meaning. New agers are ‘playful lovers’ of god and the expression is infinite, and not of the silent (call it wish list in Amazon!) prayers. Herein comes the Osho Active Meditation series, where you are free to choose your own way of communication with Nature. I like all the meditation in this series, especially OSHO Nataraj Meditation. The concept behind this is very simple: Dance your way to God.

Composed by Deuter, in the presence of Osho, the new age Buddha, the music and the meditation have both kindled my spirit and showed me a path. Starting with a 40-min dance, followed by a 20-min silence, it ends with a 5-min melody to show the gratitude of the meditative experience one has in the previous stages. Osho says,

“Forget the dancer, the center of the ego; become the dance. That is the meditation. Dance so deeply that you forget completely that ‘you’ are dancing and begin to feel that you are the dance. The division must disappear; then it becomes a meditation.

If the division is there, then it is an exercise: good, healthy, but it cannot be said to be spiritual. It is just a simple dance. Dance is good in itself – as far as it goes it is good. After it, you will feel fresh, young. But it is not meditation yet. The dancer must go, until only the dance remains…. Don’t stand aside, don’t be an observer. Participate!

And be playful. Remember the word playful always – with me it is very basic.”

Statuary Warning  :D : This meditation is for those who want to show a gratitude towards Existence. You can show your love but you cant expect it to buy anything for you (demanding prayers, they say, would! ).

Have fun in life…. be playful lovers.

Down the ages the East has been proved to be the land of meditation and also a nesting place for many mystics. Osho, the modern enlightened mystic, showered light much on both inner and outer life.

friends while scanning the net i found this useful link on Osho Nataraj Mediatation http://www.osho.com/Main.cfm?Area=Meditation&Language=English
