Coming Soon on March 25: Under an Ancient Sky by Coyote Oldman

Coyote Oldman’s latest new album “Under an Ancient Sky” is going to be released under the label ‘Heart of Space’ on March 25. Coyote Oldman, A duo of Barry Stramp and Michael Graham Allen, has combined the sound of atmosphere and the technology which unfolds and expands music in a unique way. Barry’s serene storm of lovely chaos and Allen’s melodies of ancient flute are pure magic.

The flutes used in “Under an Ancient Sky” are based on 1.200 year old artifacts of Anasazi flutes unearthed in Central Eastern Arizona …The flutes heard on “Under an Ancient Sky” were built and played by Michael Graham Allen and bear the original tone and scale of an instrument that has been silent for the past 700 years; the lush harmonic overtones and unusual compositions are inspired by the mysterious voice of the Anasazi flute, the soul of this latest Coyote Oldman recording “Under an Ancient Sky”.
