Before I say a word about this album, I humbly apologize for the title and rest of the post, as I have great love for his music and respect as a musician who ‘understands’ and ‘feels’ music.

Simply put, this album doesnt need a Hariprasad Charausia. Any Tom and Dick could have done this. The only reason I purchased this album is because of Hariprasad being one of the composer. And what did I find? A noisy album which is a obvious result of inappropriate mixing of western and eastern music and instruments.

This happens time and again in history that great people join together to create a mega-hit album, creating a great sensation and expectation in the minds of audience, but fail miserably in the process to create any thing worth listening. This is the case with Music Out of Boundaries.

For my Midos, I’d recommend many of Hariprasad’s albums (already I have done so many) but not this album. Here are two links to my all time favorite Hariprasad’s compositions. They are real gems in my music library.
