Living Temple, the title given many metaphorical meanings, is released by David Lanz in 2007 in DVD format and recently he has announced the Living Temple mp3. Grammy nominated artist goes one with the voice of nature in this album. He finds the sound of a sacred place, melodies of red rock, the river, and the open sky in Living Temple.

Blending the classic sounds of piano, cello, and upright acoustic bass, with exotic native and world flutes, dreamy synth textures, hand percussion, and the majestic thundering sound of the Taos drums, the compositions were given room to breathe, unfold, and come to life.

This is music that reflects the spacious beauty the American Southwest evokes. Beauty at once stark, rich, and surprisingly lush in texture.

Grammy-nominated New Age pianist David Lanz arrives at Stamford Center for the Arts’ Rich Forum Theatre on Feb. 2 at 8 p.m for a performance. His most popular album Cristofori’s Dream topped the billboard new age chat in 1988 for about 27 weeks. With his 20 years of New Age music movement, he has produced 13 excellent albums till date which have been inspiration for many newagers.

Prior to his Stamford visit, David Lanz hits a show on Feb01 at The Grand Opera House, 818 North Market St. Wilmington, Del. The ticket cost 28$ to 33$. Its very common to see Lanz adding jokes, anecdotes and his inspiration behind his music during his concert performances. I’m eager to hear his soothing strokes and funny comments as well.
