Quotes from Gita work out well as guided meditation and the soft, soothing voice of Ram Dass helps in flowing deep into meditative state. The 7th track Shri Ram Chant doesn’t seem belonging to this album and I felt the album is still better without that track. Second only to Sacred Chants of Shiva by Banks of the Ganges, this album is what I am listening to my regular meditation.

Meditation on Gita will be continued….

Post from: New Age Vibe

Pleasure of Losing Oneself in Meditation on Gita

Meditation

Ram Dass

Bhagavad_Gita

Mediation

Ram_Dass

For the past one week, one of the albums that I listened (I should say meditated upon) is Ram Dass’s Meditation on Gita. He gives much silence between words where the music fills and takes the listener deep into tranquil state of meditation.

I listened to this album with my eyes closed and the experience of listening to it simply doesn’t find a word in my vocabulary. I just disappear and don’t have the slighest desire to open my eyes and do something else. The experience is so blissful. I recommend this album for all my Midos who seek silence amidst constant battle inside their mind, for those who desire that the life can be a little lighter and peaceful, and for those who are into discovering the hidden meanings of Bhagavat Gita.

Thanks Ram Dass for such a wonderful album…. I am out of words….

Post from: New Age Vibe
