An ardent new age fan cannot miss the name, Dadawa who stirred up the whole music scene by her album Sister Drum, released in October 1995. Zhu Zheqin, popularly known as Dadawa, is celebrated highly in the west and in China for her unique vocalization. Even after the international success time of 12 years, I can see Dadawa fans are quite attached with Sister Drum for its Tibetan-inspired music.

Dadawa’s Sister Drums is the first Asian album to sell more than one million copies in china and a travel document of Tibet ignoring the restless situations & political ironies. The album is an imprint of a two year journey of Dadawa and her producer/collaborator He Xuntian. Her enchanting voice, Tibet culture, classical Chinese and new age music transform us mystically delight. If you are looking for some outstanding Asian Cds for your collection, I would recommend Sister Drums without a second thought.
